Student Rosters
Rosters are a great way to provide your grade level leaders with a listing of all students assigned to the leader's room/location. There are several rosters available, from the very basic to the customizable. The roster you ultimately pick will depend upon what works best for your student leaders. Some rosters to try for the sample activity we just created are as follows (each of these reports can be configured to display volunteers/staff as well):
Note: It is a good practice to run rosters before the weekend service. Since Check-in relies on the Internet and electricity to work, having a roster is a good back up if technology fails during your activity time. Instruct leaders to take manual attendance using a roster.
-
- M1211 — *Core Attendance Records - This core report returns people who have or have not attended the Activity and/or Group that you choose. It can display total attendance and/or 1st, 2nd or 3rd time visitors within a date range.

- M3018—Assignment Roster with 4-Digit Phone. This roster also contains 2 empty columns that can be used for sign-in/sign-out.
- M3025—Attendance Marking Sheet. This roster is designed for marking attendance and may be helpful when you cannot use Check-in.
- M3004 —Customized Empty Pre-Assignment Roster. This roster allows you to configure the output columns.
- M1117E—Room/Location Roster by Attendance. This roster allows you to display only those students who are currently attending during a specified date range. You also have the ability to choose what information displays in two custom columns.
These, of course, are a small sampling of all the available rosters. To see more options, click the FT Reports tab in the Report Library and then click the Assignment/Attendance Roster Templates, Assignment Rosters, or Attendance Rosters tags in the Find by Tags section on the right side of the page.
